Cassandra De Rosa
Cassandra De Rosa was born in Florence; in 2007, she became part of the seventh edition of the “Amici di Maria De Filippi” talent show, and was also part of the evening phase of the program. On 19 April 2008 in Rome, she, together with the starts of the talent show, participated in the special “Amici da Piazza del Popolo”, conducted by Maria De Filippi in front of nearly 80,000 spectators. The show was aired live on Canale 5. Later, she also participated in the Amici 7 tour that visited main Italian cities. That same year she had the chance to perform, together with the teacher Luca Juramn, in the famous Milan club Blue Note. In December 2008 Cassandra was part of the cast of the national premier of the opera musical “Bernadette - Il miracolo di Lourdes” at the Sistina Theatre of Rome. Her first work, “Gocce in mare aperto” was released on 5 May 2009 under the Azzurra Music label. In July 2009, Cassandra flew to the United States and performed at the LeLacheur Park - Lowell Stadium di Boston (Massachusetts - USA) for the Lowell Spinner baseball team, the youth team of the Red Sox. Here she sung the American national anthem at the opening of the new sports season. On 28 December 2011, Cassandra presented her new single "Prendo tempo", which she sung for the Sanremo Giovani 2012 selections. Again in December Cassandra took part in the 2011 Telethon with the song “A song for Edy”, performing in the afternoon slot of the program conducted by Fabrizio Frizzi.
