Paride Mensa was born in Torino and started his career in 1972 in the most prestigious cabaret theatre in Italy. His teachers and friends include actors such as Oreste Lionello, Lino Banfi and Walter Chiari. He was the winner of the RAI 2 “Torre d’oro” award in 1987 for his show "Una grande occasione" with Luciano Rispoli, which aired thirteen episodes on RAI 2. In the same year, he was the comic revelation of the much-appreciated "Asiago tenda" show that aired every day on RAI Stereo 1 and conducted by Claudio Lippi. He has been the President of the Cinema Cultural Centre of Torino, the Cultural Department of the City of Torino. He has acted in numerous films: Lucio Lunerd’s "L'accertamento" with Lino Capolicchio and Giulio Brogi, a film in competition at the Venice Film Festival in 1998, Silvia Saraceno’s "L'uomo della fortuna" (1999) with Burt Young and his last effort, Carlo Vanzina’s "Ti presento un amico" (2010) alongside Raoul Bova. In his show he presents a repertoire of which he is also the author and his topics range from social to relationship of the couple.
